Beulah Katherine Hatch, 87, died peacefully in Roosevelt on Jan. 6, 2011.

Beulah was born in Vernal, Feb.9, 1923, to Alfred Davis and Hattie Mae Ellifritz Davis. She married Tex Ellsworth McCray and they were later divorced. She then married Alva Leroy Hatch.

Beulah is survived by: her daughter Georgia Potter of Vernal; brother Theron Davis of Vernal; sister Aloha Vietti of West Valley; many nieces, nephews; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: husband Leroy Hatch; one sister; and five brothers.

Beulah retired, after 30 years, from the Antler's Motel in Vernal, where she was the head of housekeeping.

She loved gardening, fishing and camping. She held various church callings, and was a temple worker. Beulah always seemed to stay busy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Vernal 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 250 N. 200 South.

Friends and family may call Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at the Vernal Blackburn Mortuary, and one hour prior to services at the chapel.

Interment will be at the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Vernal Blackburn Mortuary
