Joseph A. Fishell, for 57 years a resident of this village, died this morning at 7:00 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Hugh Patten after an illness of several months. He was born in Homer township December 14, 1883, and resided all his life in Homer. He is survived by his wife Ermina; three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Patten, Mrs. Agnes Bronson, Mrs. Alice O'Dell and William all of Homer. The funeral will occur Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Mains' funeral home, the Rev. Leroy Cabbage officiating. The interment will be at the Fisher cemetery.

Services for Joseph Fishell
Funeral services for Joseph A. Fishell, 57, who died Wednesday following a several months' illness, were held at the Mains funeral home, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with Rev. Leroy Cobbage[sic] officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery. Mr. Fishell is survived by his wife, Ermina; three sister[sic], Mrs. Eliza Patten, Mrs. Agnes Bronson and Mrs. Alice O'Dell, and one brother, Wm. Fishell all of Homer. Pallbearers were Seth Bowerman, Robert Gregg, C. J. Waterman, Amos Hamilton, Willard Brockway and Samuel Wooley.
