Daughter of John Gerber and Anna "Barbara" (Marti) Gerber Loeffler. Wife of William Bueker.

OBITUARTY IN THE SAGINAW NEWS COURIER, Friday, 21 Jan 1927 (10).

"BUEKER, Mrs. Anna Bueker, 80, widow of William Bueker and a pioneer of Kochville township, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Karp. 433 Barnard street. Anna Gerber was born July 10, 1846 in the canton of Berne Switzerland, and in 1850 came to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gerber. The family settled in Kochville township. Anna Gerber was married in 1866 to Mr. Bueker. She was a member of the Kochville Methodist Episcopal church and was one of its organizers. She leaves six children, William H., John T. and Egbert Bueker, and Mrs. Edward Long, Kochville township. Mrs. John Karp, Saginaw and Mrs. Herman Bresser, Lansing, two brothers an one sister, Mrs. Anthony Bueker, Lansing. John Gerber, Kochville, and Dr. Egbert Loeffler, Long Beach, Calif. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Kochville M. E. church. Rev. Arnold Runkel will officiate and burial will be in the Kochville cemetery.

NOTE: Copy of obituary is in my files and is of poor quality. Incorrect spelling of sister's last name - should be Mrs. Anthony Beeker. (correction: January 2011 - seems some branches of the family used the name BUEKER and some used BEEKER)

Photo of gravestone can be viewed at Saginaw County Michigan Photographs.
