Surviving Jack are his three children, daughter, Janyce, son, J.C., and daughter, Misty; his three sisters, Jean Halliday, of Washington, Utah, Carma Tolman Kearns, of Utah, and JoAnna Hoskin(Gary), of Hazelton, Idaho; and two brothers, Raymond Dean Andersen(Mary), of Cedar City, Utah. and Harold Andersen, of Buhl, Idaho.
Jack served in the Korean War, and then spent most of his working career driving truck. He loved to travel, and loved the outdoors. He loved to write poetry and short stories and share them with people whose lives he touched.
Graveside services for Jack will be held at the Hyrum City Cemetery, Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
