NEW AUBURN, CHIPPEWA COUNTY – Mrs. Helen Boerger, 77, formerly of 2130 South 9th Street, Sheboygan, died Monday, January 30, 1989, at Barron Community Hospital, Barron, Wisconsin. The past two years she had made her home here at New Auburn, Wisconsin, with her son and daughter-in-law.
The former Helen Olle was born in Sheboygan, October 14, 1911, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary Benesch Olle. She attended local schools. On June 16, 1931, she married Arno W. Boerger in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death October 3, 1974.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Clement Catholic Church, by the pastor, Reverend Donald Peters. The mass will be preceded by family rites at 10:30 a.m. at the Haberman Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Helen Boerger's name.
