Frank J. Adams, age 89, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2002 at Whetstone Care Center. He retired from Jaeger Machine Co. after serving more than 30 years; later Frank worked for the State of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997, Helen "Nell" Adams and brothers Robert, Richard, Louis and John Samuel Adams. Frank is survived by his daughters, Carol (Karl) Brown of Columbus and Vicki Adams (Thomas) Amorose of Vashon, WA; sons, Frank (Jeannie) Adams Jr. of Pittsburgh and Thomas (Karen) Adams of Columbus; sisters, Agnes Melvin and Louise (William) Mayer; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2002 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2002 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus. Fr. Thomas Shonebarger Celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
