GIBSON -- EDITH GREER Age 94, a resident of Albuquerque, NM died Saturday, August 4, 2012. She is survived by her children, Elisabeth (Homer) Smith, and Don (Donna) Gibson; seven grandchildren, Paul Smith, Robert (Cathy) Smith, twins, Connie Burns and Donnie (Beth) Smith, Teri (Mark) Tate, Toni (Mark) Morales and Tracy (Patricia) Gibson; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Gibson; parents, Nancy and George Greer and her beloved daughter, Anna Louise. Edith and her husband were married for 60 years and resided in Estancia for over 30 years. They farmed in Estancia and left behind many friends. They were also members of the Estancia Church Of Christ. Friends may visit French, University location, Saturday, August 11, 2012, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday August 13, 2012, 11:00 am, at French, University location with Floyd Robertson of Silver City, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's association of New Mexico, 9500 Montgomery NE, Suite 121, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
