MIDLAND Hilda Faye Owens Bradley, 81, died on Thursday morning, Jan. 6, 2011, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Hilda was born in Eden, Texas, on March 9, 1929. Viewing for Hilda was held Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at North "A" St. Church of Christ, with Pastor Greg Fleming and special friend Pastor Jim Everidge presiding. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery in Pecos. Hilda was owner of Hilda's Beauty Den for 23 years in Pecos, Texas. She was one of 13 children and married Ralph Bradley on Nov. 6, 1948, in Pecos, where they made their home. Ralph brought one daughter to the family and they added three more children. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and was a member of North "A" Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bradley; her parents, Thomas and Josephine Owens; numerous brothers, Clint, Milton, Alton, Tommy, Ervin, Sonny-Boy, Damon and Guy Owens; and a sister, Lottie. Hilda is survived by her loving children, Scarlotte Mikeska and husband Brent of San Angelo, David Bradley and wife Sandy of Joshua, Donny Bradley and wife Donna of Pecos and Becky Perkins and husband Charlie of Mertzon; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers Jerry Owens and wife Kathy of Tahoka, Bill and Ruby Owens of Havre, Mont.; special sister-in-law, Margie Bradley; and niece Joyce Waterfill. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to North "A" Church of Christ, Service Building, the fund started by Hilda Bradley, 505 San Angelo St., Midland, Texas 79701.
