Venetta L. Trammell of Spiro was born February 10, 1926, in Summerfield, Oklahoma to Jim LaFayette and Ella (Keiffer) Jones and passed away January 9, 2011, in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 84. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Russell of Spiro, OK and Beverly Withrow and husband Gary of Spiro; newphews, Jimmy and Raymond Jones, Travis Martin and Perry Amerine; nieces, Vickie Holkum, Billie Martin, Wilma Martin, Diane Amerine, Dena Amerine; and a cousin, Vesta Lou Hyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Euil Trammell. and a brother, Hildred L. Jones. Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at Spiro First United Methodist Church with interment at the US National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Rev. Gary Withrow will officiate.
