Donald Earl Winegar, age 60, passed away on January 1, 2011.
Don was born September 8, 1950 to Leroy Samuel Spatz and Loretta Mae Huntington. At the age of 18 Don changed his surname to Winegar in honor of his step-father James Leon Winegar.
Don served honorably in the United States Army as an operating room technician at Second General Hospital, Landstuhl, Germany during the Vietman War. Through all his years, Don never lost his devotion to the Word of God. He was a friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his three parents, brother Larry, and sisters Nancy and Judy. Don is survived by three brothers Steve Winegar, Curtis Winegar, and Blake Winegar and four sisters Gina Winegar, Sammie (Richard) Olson, Ruth (Bill) Shields, and Becky Edens. His children Julius (Hisaka) Winegar, Benjamin (Julia) Winegar, Calla (Michael) Simms, Lilie (Jason) Schoenack, and Micah (Blanche) Winegar and 13 grandchildren: Taylor Steece, Michelle Schoenack, Justin Steece, Brinn Winegar, Calla-Gene Hughey, Shea Winegar, Carolyn Hughey, Wrehn Winegar, Zander Winegar, Alexander Winegar, Noah Schoenack, Juno Winegar, and Maiya Winegar.
