Wade Bates, Jr., 59 years old of Beaumont, Texas passed away at Harbor Hospice on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Wade leaves lasting memories to his wife, Louella Bates of Beaumont; son, Terrell Bates of League City, TX; step-son, Kevin Bates of Houston, TX; step-daughters, Rashon Davis of Beaumont, Karen Baines and Kimba Jackson of Houston; brother, Aaron Bates (Martha) of Beaumont; step-brother, Vay Smith of Beaumont; sisters, Martha Davis (Curtis), Gloria Jones (Harold) and Linda Fleming all of Beaumont; and Andria Babineaux (John) of Houston, TX; step-mother, Joyce Sineguar; aunt, Queen Esther Pitre; cousin, Sally Laster Dunford; godchildren, Quinshicca Wilson and Tellys Moye; devoted co-worker, Charlie Lewis, Sr.; eight grandchildren; a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services for Wade will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at The Church of the Living God located at 690 Irma Ave., officiated by Pastor Lloyd Austin. The visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. The interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery under the professional direction of Comeaux-Community Funeral Chapel.
