Belinda jean Brown, 17 of 274 Genessee St., Cayugan, died October 8 from injuries received in an automobile accident October 5.
Services were Friday, October 11, at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, 49 Jordan St., Skaneateles, The Rev. Allen Kinney officiated. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles.
Miss. Brown was a native of the Auburn area. She was a junior at Union Springs Central School. She was a part-time employee of Nichols Department store Auburn.
Miss Brown was a member of the Junior prom committee and the roller skating club at the high school. She was a member of Cayuga Methodist Church and was a former Girl Scout.
Miss Brown is survived by her mother and stepfather, James and Bonnie Covert of Cayugan; her father, Francis Brown of Mottville; a sister Danielle Covert of Cayuga; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marshall Curtis of Auburn; her paternal grandparents, Purcell and June Brown of Mottville, and her paternal step-grandparents, Chester and Helen Covert of Skaneateles.
