Wendell Charles Rundquist, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 2, 2011. He was born April 18, 1926, in Moroni, Utah, and was a 57-year resident of Nevada. After high school in Salt Lake City, Wendell served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for YESCO for 12 years. He attended UNLV and then worked for EG&G at the Nevada Test Site until he retired in 1991. Wendell is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Verletta Barnes; his daughters, Cecelia Zygmont and Wendy Ramos; his sons, Charles Rundquist and Gary Rundquist and their spouses; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Viewing to 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, with services immediately following, both at the LDS Chapel, 6100 Alta Drive LDS Chapel January 15, 2010 at 10:00 the funeral to immediately follow. Graveside services will follow at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery.
