ROSS, Ella 75, of Springfield, died Friday January 7, 2011 in her residence. She was born December 25, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Harrison and Naomi (Carver) Brown. Ella worked for Yellow Springs Instrument for twenty-nine years before retiring. She actively attended Northside Baptist Church. She belonged to retiree clubs who met monthly, the Aristocrats and Old Timers Club. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Cindy Ross of Springfield; daughter, Eliza Huffman of Enon; four grandchildren, Kimberly Ross of Springfield, Courtney (Dallas) Hill of Springfield, Heather Huffman Ross of Hilo, Hawaii and Ross Huffman of Enon; special friend and niece, Madelyn Myers of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Henry Clyde Ross; six sisters and seven brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Northside Baptist Church, 2425 Derr Road, where funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Community Mercy Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Northside Baptist Church, 2425 Derr Road, Springfield, Ohio 45503.
