MRS. CLARENCE BEERS DIES AFTER OPERATION
The news of the death of the beloved wife of Clarence Beers was sadly received last week following her recent operation in Omaha and in nearly every case it was a shock. The silent arm that entwines and cares for us all had graciously and carefully ascended and taken into His own heavenly home one of our midst who was beloved by all who knew her; to that home where sorrows and cares are
forgotten, where a life eternal is enjoyed, and where that loved one will await the day when she will again be united with her loved ones.Truly, Mrs. Beers was a devoted wife and mother and through her many acts of kindness she had gathered a very large circle of friends who sadly grieve her departure.
Clara Pearl Von Schuetz was born at Inman, Nebraska December 20, 1884 and died March 6, 1921, at Omaha after a surgical operation at a local hospital. She removed with her parents to Pacific Junction, Iowa, at the age of 8 years and from thence to Syracuse, Nebraska, in 1889. She was graduated from the Syracuse High School in the class of '02, and afterward taught in Otoe county schools for five years. On September 4, 1907, she was married to Clarence Beers and five children were born to that union. The five children and their father, survive. Her father, one brother, and four sisters have preceded her in death.
Funeral services were conducted at the home and the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon and interment was made at the Park Hill cemetery.
