Mrs. Ruby Horn age 86, of Rome, GA, died Friday, June 19, 2009.

Mrs. Horn was born in Floyd County, GA on January 27, 1923, the daughter of the late Daniel Breeden and Eveline Richardson Breeden. She was a member of Mount Alto Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for forty years at New Armuchee Baptist Church. Mrs. Horn was a homemaker and loved to work with flowers. Also, Mrs. Horn had a close walk with her Lord. In addition to her parents Mrs. Horn was preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce Horn; infant son; two brothers, J.D. Breeden and Willis Breeden; and a sister, Maxine Edwards.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Larry Davis of Rome, Carolyn and David Choate of Rome, and Debra and Jerry Treglown of Lindale; grandchildren, Sonya and Jon Black, Sharon and Britt Green, Natalie and John Edwards, Scott Treglown, and Toby Treglown; great grandchildren, Stephen and Lisa Self, Kayla Green, and Branson Edwards; a brother, Ollie Breeden of Rome; and three sisters, Betty Worthington of Kingston, GA, Rachel Highfield of Rome, and Sue Alred of Adairsville, GA.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Holsomback and Rev. Phil Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until the funeral hour in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, 855 Abutment Road Suite 6, Dalton, GA 30721.

The following gentlemen have been ask to serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Oaknoll Chapel by 1:30 P.M.: Scott Treglown, Toby Treglown, Stephen Self, and Jon Black.
