He is survived by aunt, Eleanor Frye of Richmond, Va.; great-aunt, Ruby Strong of Birmingham, Ala.; wife, JoEtta Miller; sister, Chris Miller of Tampa; children, Michael Miller, 13, Matthew Miller, 15, Scott Miller, 21, Grayson Miller III, 29, Angie Miller Kumar, 37, wife of Roger Kumar Jr., Deborah Plastic, 49, wife of Jim Plastic; grandsons, Maddox Kumar and Robby Plastic; granddaughter, Maya Rose Kumar, due to arrive in July 2005; as well as numerous friends and extended family members.
Mr. Miller was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a former member of Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club. He loved playing golf, gardening, bowling and playing the piano. He graduated from Plant High School, Marion Military Academy and the University of Florida, where he was a member of the SAE fraternity. He was a builder, developer and business owner. A wonderful husband, loving and dedicated father and grandfather.
Pallbearers will be Roger Kumar, Grayson Miller III, Scott Miller, Matthew Miller, Joe Hilton, Jim Plastic, Robby Plastic and Lionel Polo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005, with burial following at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, 3030 North McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33761, (813) 726-8829.
The family will receive friends at the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club immediately following the interment.
