Mrs. Myrtie Ruth Langham, 79, of Fayetteville died Mar. 16 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. She was born June 13, 1904, at Mansfield, Mo., the daughter of George Washington and Sadie Paxton Branstetter. She was the widow of A.A. (Hade) Langham to whom she was married on Oct. 1, 1924, at Goshen, and who died in June, 1981. She was a homemaker, a Protestant and a longtime resident of the area. She moved to Fayetteville from the Tuttle community two years ago.

Survivors include two sons, Calvin Langham of Goshen and Claude Langham of Fayetteville; three daughters, Patsy Langham and Mrs. Virginia Boatright, both of Fayetteville and Mrs. Betty Gobel of the Richland View community; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Downing of Glendale, Calif., her twin, Mrs. Bertie Smith of Fayetteville and Mrs. Luella Williams of Greensburg, Kan.; three half sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Rogers of Benicia, Calif., Mrs. Salley Spurlock and Mrs. Jane Maguire, both of LaHabra, Calif., one half brother, Eugene Branstetter of Wesley; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday, Mar. 19, 1984, at Moore's Chapel with the Rev. H.D. McCarty officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Marvin Gobel, Ronnie Langham, Rickey Langham, Doug Langham, David Boatright and Keven Boatright.
