Mrs. Scarlett, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 4, 1996, in Cookeville General Hospital.
The daughter of the late Monroe and Ollie Vinson Fuqua, she was born July 15, 1912, in Bloomington Springs. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lee Scarlett; her parents and a host of brothers and sisters.
Her family includes her sons, Junior Lee Scartlett of Cookeville, Douglas Scarlett of Peru, IN, and Arnold
Scarlett of Baxter; her daughter, Kathleen Clemons of Baxter, her brother, Virgil Fuqua of Baxter; and seven grandchildren and a host of greatgrandchildren.
