Dwight M. Davis was born on November 9, 1893 in the Popcorn community near Springville, he was the son of Theodore and Lizzie Jane McConnelly Davis. He married Edith Strosnider on October 4, 1917 and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Virginia Grow; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Laura Rush, Iris Hudson, Vida Hert, Esther Reynolds.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death, and a son, Lawrence Davis, in 1932.
Burial will be in Lowder Cemetery.
