Funeral services for Lessie Dujka Curtiss, 74, will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. at Knesek Funeral Home in Wallis. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Lessie Dujka Curtiss was born Dec. 14, 1922 in the Krasna community and graduated from Orchard High School. She received her R.N. degree from Lilly Jolly School of Nursing at Memorial Hospital in Houston. Afterward, she worked at various hospitals throughout the states. She died Feb. 8 at Hillje after a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rosalie Dujka; her brothers, Joe Dujka and Adolph Dujka; and her sisters, Ollie Mae Schoppe, Julia Barta, and Annabelle Pesek.

She is survived by her brothers, Jerry Dujka, William Dujka, and J.P. Dujka; and by her sisters, Tony Martisak, Rosalie Hammack, Frankie Stracik, Mildred Cotharn, Emma Lynn Koehler, and Joyce Otto.
