Emily Gibbs, the daughter of David Gibbs and Mary Beal, married Joseph B. Shreev, his 2nd marriage. Joseph was the son of Comfort Dimmitt and Joseph Shreev, he had three children from a prior marriage. Emily and Joseph were married on March 18th, 1852 in Darke County, Ohio. They had eight known children together, two daughters and six sons.
