Rosemarie G. Goss, daughter of Albert and Madeline Salzano Appicello, was born March 2, 1938, in Yonkers, New York. She departed this life May 17, 1992, in her home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-four years, two months, and fifteen days.

On April 7, 1956, she was united in marriage to Kenneth "Red" Goss and to this union two sons and one daughter were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth on May 23, 1971; and two brothers, Anthony and Louis Appicello.

Rosemarie is survived by two sons, Kenneth Goss and his wife, Linda, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Ricky Goss of Bronxville, New York; one daughter, Annmarie Goss of Lebanon, Missouri; one brother, Phillip Appicello of the state of Florida; one sister, Carmelia Slaughter of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Dominica and Sonny Goss; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was born and raised in Yonkers, New York, and then, after the death of her parents, she came to Lebanon, Missouri, to live with her older sister. Following their marriage, Rosemarie and Kenneth made their home in Lebanon.

For many years she was employed by the Wal-Mart Discount Store and for the last several years, she was the fabric department manager.

Rosemarie was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

She was a devoted homemaker who always put her family first, even until the very end. She greatly loved animals of all kinds and was particularly fond of dogs and cats. She was concerned about the care of her pets and all animals.

Rosemarie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.

Services for Rosemarie G. Goss were held Wednesday, May 20, 1992, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Oliver Clavin officiating. Music was by Max Rhoades, vocalist, and Barbara Kemp, organist. Burial was in the Mount Rose Memorial Park. Serving as escorts were David Arnold, Xury Fisher, Ronald Phillips, Dennis Bryant, Louis Manuel, and Ronald Slaughter. Services were under the direction of Holman Funeral Homes of Lebanon.
