MRS. JOHN S. LAWRENCE
TENNILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. John Steven Lawrence, 82, who died Monday, were held at 3:30 p.m. today in the Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lott and the Rev. Horace Logue officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lawrence, a native of Washington County, was the daughter of Tom Scott and the late Mrs. Nanny Powell Scott.
Survivors include one son, George Hubert Lawrence of Tennille; four daughters, Mrs. Horace Lord, Mrs. Lewis Smith, Mrs. Bernice Hartley, and Mrs. Spurgeon Orr, all of Tennille; two brothers, Beverly Scott and Thomas Scott, both of Dublin; four sisters, Mrs. C.W. Tanner and Mrs. Benton Tanner, both of Tennille, Mrs. Steve Holloway and Mrs. John Passmore, both of Dublin.
Mayo Funeral Home of Sandersville had charge of arrangements.
