Puffer, Irving C. 9455 Walsh Rd., Montague Twp. Services for Mr. Puffer will be conducted by Rev. Arthur Cunningham from White Lake Baptist Church Friday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Gee Memorial Chapel until 9 p.m. this evening and at the church beginning 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service. Interment in the family plot Rothbury Cemetery.

Irving Puffer Montague Irving C. Puffer, 68 of Hart Township, Oceana County, a former long time resident of Montague, died unexpectedly Wednesday at the Gebhart Farm, where he had worked seven years. He also resided at the farm. The cause of death was not determined as of this morning. Mr. Puffer was born at Crystal Valley, Sept. 17, 1896 and married Edna Mae Webster June 27,1917 in Hart. she died Jan. 18, 1956 Mr. Puffer lived in Montague Township for 18 yrs, and formerly worked in foundries in Muskegon. Surviving are four sons, Niley of Ferry, Gerald and Elgie, both of Montague, and Harold of Twin Lake: five daughter's. Mrs. Geraldine Jackson and Mrs. Shirley Beckwith, both of rural Whitehall, Mrs. John Lavere of Crawford, Mrs. Bertha Picard of Muskegon, and Miss Betty of Coldwater: four sisters, Mrs. Kitty Makin of Muskegon, Mrs. Angie Fouts and Mrs. Mary Dillingham of Hart, and Mrs. Mina Zimmerman of Grand Rapids; 33 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at White Lake Baptist Church, here. Burial will be at Rothbury Cemetery. The body is at Gee Funeral Home.
