Funeral services for Eugene A. "Geno" Kelley, 57, of Rock Island, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, where East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

Geno died July 2, 2005, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1948, in Moline, son of Edward and Tillie Gohn Kelley. He married Sharon Oller Feb. 26, 1972, in Silvis.

He had worked at John Deere Foundry, East Moline. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 until 1972.

He is survived by children and spouses, Bridget and Brad Neff, Moline, Amanda Kratzberg, Silvis, and Jerry and Tina Kelley, Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Briley, Alexis, Danny and Drew; sisters, Iona Heller, Moline, Betty Quist, Rock Island, Bea Garcia, Pangburn, Ark., Lana and Grady Guyton, Colona; brothers, Edward and Helen Kelley, Hawkins, Wis., Gary and Donna Kelley, Colona, Dennis and Betty Kelley, Colona, Darryl Kelley, Iowa, and Keith Kelley; and a host of good friends at his hangout, the Polish Pub. His parents and a sister, Donna Rosenow, preceded him in death.
