He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lucille Cooper Israel; son, John Perry Israel; daughter, Betty Jo Fountain; parents, John R. (Jack) Israel and Johnnie Victoria Brumfield; grandchildren, Tammy Israel, Newton Barton (Bubba) Fountain, Jared Varnell Israel; great-grandson, Brandon Israel. Carlie and Lucille had eleven children and there are nine remaining children, Earline Parker (Ronald), Brandon, FL; C.B. Israel, Jr. Walker, LA; Val Mss, Amite, LA; Larry Israel (Dorla), Moss Point, MS; Varnell Israel (Lucille), Moss Point; Bobby Israel (Sandy), Moss Point; Harriet Lee (Carl), of Georgia; Edna Somerhalder, Amite, LA; Margaret Fitzgerald, Columbia, MS; brother, James A. Israel, Dumas, AR; sisters, Mildred Wells, Conway, AR; Emma Sanders, Tillar, AR; 39 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, 6:00-8:00pm, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, MS. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, 2:00pm, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula with Bishop Jay Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens, Escatawpa, MS.
