Dorothy Miller, 79, died in Long Beach,Calif. She was born Oct 4,1907, at Sutherland to John and Alice Mapes. She married Harry C.Miller in North Platte and they resided in Denver, Colorado. After retirement, they returned to North Platte. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Long Beach. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents;three sisters, Lottie Simmons, Margie McKinley and Viva Marsh; three brothers, Chester,Henry and Randall Mapes. Survivors include one sister, Betty Mapes Ross of Paramount, Calif; one brother, Donal Mapes of Long Beach.
