BOILING SPRINGS – Deborah Allen Prince, 51, of 119 Meadowview Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at her residence.

Born April 30, 1954, in Gaffney, she was the daughter of Billy J. Allen and Grace Eilene Allen and wife of Larry C. Prince of the home.

Throughout her life, her faithful service and devotion to God was witnessed by those whose lives she touched. A lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gaffney, she was church pianist for 35 years. She had also served in positions of director and co-director of Vacation Bible School, Sunday School teacher, Sunday School secretary and church clerk.

A 1972 graduate of Gaffney High School, she was an employee of Oxford Industries for 34 years. She worked in the positions of computer operator, data entry and receptionist.

She will be missed by many people but none more so that her family. She was a loving and giving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She enjoyed time spent with her family, reading God's Word and serving her church. One of her greatest passions in life was the desire to know all of her family members had accepted Christ.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are two sisters, Diane Blanton and Carol Pennington of Gaffney; nephews Jacob Blanton, Edward Pennington, Michael Pennington and Jonathan Fowler of Gaffney and Matthew Brian of Hanson, Mass.; nieces Melissa Blanton of Lyman, Meaghan Brain, Madelyn Brain of Hanson, Mass., and Rayn Petritsch of Reno, Nev.; a great-nephew, Mickie Pennington, great-nieces, Maddison Blanton, Kaylee Blanton, Alea Pennington and Alexis Millen, and a very special great-nephew, Austin Pennington, all of Gaffney.


Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Blanton, Jacob Blanton, Edward Pennington, Michael Pennington, Jonathan Fowler, Bill Allison, Greg Gardner and David Ruppe.
