Our Hero
Passed away peacefully in the arms of his family, January 6, 2011, after a long battle with cholangiocarcinoma.
David was fun, laid back, sometimes silly, but always very genuine and sincere. He is most known for his integrity, honesty and self reliance. You could always count on him to get things done. He never had to be given a "TO DO" list. He was the "TO DO".
He was a faithful servant of our Heavenly Father. His joy and pride of his life was his family. He loved to travel with his sweetheart, Shauna. And together they explored amazing places around the world. Snuggle time with his "favorite" daughter was a must for him every day. And his favorite getaway with his sons was to Lake Powell.
David was born May 25, 1969 in Walnut Creek, CA. He married Shauna Lundberg in Sandy, Utah, November 27, 1986. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on December 16, 1989.
Dave started his own garage door business, Accent Garage Doors Inc., which is still running strong.
David is survived by his wife, Shauna, his sons Kyle and Brett, and his daughter Melissa. He is also survived by his parents, Gerald and Suzanne Moffitt, brothers Kevin, Michael and Stephen. He also leaves behind his dear grandmother, Margaret Moffitt.
We would like to thank IMC 9th and 10th floor nurses and the Huntsman Center doctors and nurses.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to: The Moffitt Family fund at any Jordan Credit Union.
