SPRINGVALE, Maine — Ann E. LaMarca, 68, of 109 Stanley Road, Springvale, died suddenly Sunday, June 24, 2001, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.
Born in Lowell, Mass. on May 25, 1933, she was the daughter of Elmer Sawyer Laughton and Barbara Burkinshaw and her father’s second wife, Florence Yates.
As a young girl she and her family moved to York, where she was raised, attended local schools and graduated from York High School, class of 1951.
After high school she attended Macintosh College.
She is the former owner of Kittery Auto Sales, which was located on Route 236 in Kittery, and also of the Cartier Club in Rollinsford, N.H., “Where the Elite Meet.” She owned and operated the Starr Crafts and Quilts in Springvale, attending many shows and displaying her talents as a gifted quilter.
She was a member of the United Maine Crafters, Rollinsford American Legion Post and attended the Union Congregational Church in York.
She is survived by her children, a son, Bradley P. and Tracy Coleman of Key Largo, Fla.; her daughters, Pamela Ann Coleman of Northwood, N.H. Wendi and Gary LaPerriere of Sanford, Maine; Elizabeth and Gary Breton of Lebanon, Maine; stepdaughters, Randi and Ed LaMarca DuBois and Terri and Larry LaMarca Burdick, all of South Berwick, Maine; and Robin Lacasse; a sister, Jo-Ann Laughton of Springvale, Maine and her former husband, Robert Lacasse of Somersworth, N.H.; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edward R. LaMarca and Bradley Coleman.

Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road/US Route — Bypass, Kittery. Friends and family may call the day of the service from 10 a.m. to noon before the service at the funeral home.
