Krystal Dawn Thomas, 20, Airman 1st Class, USAF, Minot, N.D., formerly of Spencer, died April 28, 2002 from injuries received in a fall at her residence.


She was born April 10, 1982 at Camp Lejeunc, N.C. the daughter of David W. and Sheila K. Looney Thomas of Spencer. She was a 2000 graduate of Roane County High School.

In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, David W. Thomas II and his wife Missy of Morgantown, W.Va., and Matthew Thomas of Spencer; maternal grandmother, Martha Looney of Spencer; and paternal grandfather, Clarence Thomas of Akron, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Claude Looney; and paternal grandmother, Jane Thomas.

The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at John H. Taylor Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the Ward Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
