He was 78 years and 8 days of age. He was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on November 5, 1930 to the late Alec and Ethel (Bennett) Reynolds. Dexter was an ordained minister since 1963 were he pastored the Flat Creek Baptist Church, Meadow Grove Baptist Church, Emlyn Baptist Church and the Old Way Baptist Mission , He also evangelized in Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Phebia Joann (Lambdin) Reynolds of the Meadow Creek Community, Rockholds, Kentucky; four daughters , Linda Miller and her husband Scott of Corbin, Kentucky, Rosemary Blankenship of the Meadow Creek Community, Rockholds , Kentucky, Cynthia Reynolds of the Meadow Creek Community, Rockholds, Kentucky and Jaunita Steeley of Williamsburg, Kentucky.
One son , Charles Reynolds and his wife Vicki og Barbourville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren ; five great grandchildren .
Rev. Eldon Hays and Rev. Junior Dilbeck Officiating, Burial will be in the Croley Addition , Highland Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kentucky. Ralph Lane, Bert Cox, Scott Miller, Steve Reynolds, James Bennett and William Blankenship will serve as pallbearers.
