William Elleyson "Tater" Balderson died Thursday, August 6, 2009. He was the son of the late Clarence and Hattie Trigger Balderson, the youngest and last surviving of 21 children. He was a member of White Stone Baptist Church and retired in 1997 from Menhaden Fisheries with 40 years service. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth May Scott; two sons, Daniel Balderson of White Stone and James Arthur Balderson of Lancaster; a grandson, William; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, William E. Balderson, Jr. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9 at White Stone United Methodist Church Cemetery, White Stone with Rev. L. Bryan McClain officiating.
