Buddy Dean Hawk was born in Walla Walla, WA on August 7th, 1945. He passed away January 3rd, 2011 at the Ellensburg Hospital of a heart attack, while battling lung cancer.

He is survived by his wife Susan Hawk; his mother Della Stowell; children: Cathy Harding of Kennewick, WA, Kevin Hawk of Ellensburg, WA, Lori Gibb of Ellensburg, WA, Nick Hawk of Ellensburg, WA, and Kim Hawk of Westport, WA. He is also survived by brothers: John Hawk, Vic Hawk, Ricky Hawk and Larry Hawk; sisters: Charlene Alder and Wanda Mosebar; ten grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.

Buddy attended Ellensburg High School where he lettered in track. Most of his early life was spent working on dairy farms. Later in life he started driving truck. He enjoyed traveling with his job.

Buddy was preceded in death by his father Eugene L. Hawk and his first wife Huberta Marcheal.

A celebration of his life will be held January 15th at 2p.m.-7p.m. At the Howell Home Center, 209 N. Ruby St., Ellensburg. It will be a potluck.
