He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II., who served with the 517th Parachute Infantry Regiment in the Battle of the Bulge. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Sandra Price Easterly; two daughters, Perrine Maxwell and Nancy Calamia; two stepdaughters, Wendy Richardson and Staci Mounce; two sons, Edward Y. Easterly Jr. and Dana K. Easterly; a brother, Mike Easterly; and 19 grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made for Alzheimer's research.
