Surviving are three sons, David J. (Carla) Briggs of Versailles, OH, Michael G. (Barb) Briggs of Fond du Lac, and Richard J. Briggs of Nampa, Idaho, two daughters, Linda R. Briggs of Murrieta, CA, and Debbie Werner of Rosendale, six grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, a brother, Thomas S. (Connie) Smith of West Bend, a brother-in-law, Jack (Joann) Briggs of Brownsville, WI, and two sisters-in-law, Catherine "Kate" Briggs of Eden, WI, and Evelyn R. Briggs of Huntington Beach, CA. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive her. Her parents, husband, a brother, Russell Smith, two sisters, Natalie "Pat" Mickesh and Carol Broadway, and four brothers-in-law, George and Jim Briggs, and Bob Broadway and Joe Mickesh preceded her in death.
Funeral Information
Visitation for Mrs. Janet M. Briggs will be on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home from 10 am to 1 pm. Liturgy of The Word for Christian Burial will be at 1 pm at the funeral home on Saturday. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional services, with inurnment to take place at St. Charles Cemetery at a later date.
