BOONEVILLE – Marion David Loveless Jr., 75, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at his home. He was born May 15, 1939, to M.D. Loveless and Alma Crabb. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; he served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion post No. 123. He loved being around his grand kids, playing dominoes, cards and watching the RFD channel to the gospel music. He loved being able to go visit his friends and family. He had recently been at the Courtyards Rehab Facility in Fulton and enjoyed all of the nurses and therapist; he said they really treated him like family.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today, March 15, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home with Scotty Crawson officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brown Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Alma Crabb; four sons, Marion David (Tammy) Loveless III of Tupelo, Gary (Elizabeth) Scott of Nettleton, Scottie (Donna) Scott of Tupelo and Johnny (Paige) Scott of Ocala, Fla; three daughters, Judy (Lynn) Jackson of West Memphis, AR, Shirley Malone (Kelly) Loveless of Atlanta, Ga., and Gwen West of Memphis, Tenn; his ex-wife, Diane Loveless of Nettleton; one sister, Bobbie Nell Phillips of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, James Henry Crabb of Booneville; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one nephew.
He is preceded in death by his father, M. D. Loveless.
Pallbearers will be Gary Scott, Gary Scott Jr., Benjamin Loveless, Ken Jackson and Cliff Jackson.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. today, March 15, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home.
