Leta Mae Stuart, 79, of Lawn, died from a long term illness and a recent fall at her home, Wednesday, January 5th, at Community Hospital in San Angelo. Services will be held 2:00p.m. Friday January 7, 2011 at Potosi Cemetery with Marcy Grun officiating, directed by Fry ~ Bartlett Funeral Home. A visitation was held Thursday evening at the funeral home.
She married Doyle Dean Stuart August 1948 in Littlefield Texas, raising a family of five girls for 26 years they later moved to Lawn until his death in 1974 then the family continued to live in Lawn afterwards
Leta Mae was a waitress and cashier at Taylor Café in Lawn for 10 years working for Harold and Edna Taylor. She loved working at Taylors Café and working for the Taylors. She was a wonderful mom, GranGran, and a wonderful friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter Reta Ann Browne, son Vernal Dean, father and mother Albert Leroy and Ruby O'Dell and brother Leroy O'Dell
Leta Mae is survived by four daughters Wanda Oleksiuk and husband Steve of Robert Lee, Ruby Miller and husband Rick of Clyde, Tawana Gray of Coleman, and Lawana and husband Brent of Abilene.
Leta Mae was a loving GranGran to 12 grandchildren, Alvis Browne and wife Cindi, Trina Cornette and husband Ronnie, Stevie and wife Dallas Oleksiuk, Stacy Kelton and husband Shane, Starsky Oleksiuk wife Erin, Christy Miller and friend Cory, Ricky Miller, and wife Marley, Misty Terry and Husband Que, Dusty Erwin husband Bryan, Crystal Torrez and husband Jermiah, Justin (Bo) Daniels and friend Michelle, Alishia Beasley and husband Daniel, 19 greatgrand Children, Special family friend Nita Williams, sisters Margarette Burks, Bertha Lowery, and several nieces and nephews.
