His top priorities were faith, family, and friends. He was a devoted Christian and member of Grape Chapel Church of God, where he served as music director. Over the years, he has served as a board member, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, and leader of the Men's Fellowship. He was devoted to his family and always was involved in all of the activities involving his children and grandchildren.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Jakob Keene, and his brothers, Hubert and Herbert Keene.
Survivors, his wife of over fifty years, Pat, two sons, Danny W. Keene and wife, Tracy, Ritchie Keene and wife, Robyn; three grandchildren Tyler, Kylie and Ryne Keene; nephews, nieces cousins, and friends.
Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday with Bro. Steve Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carl Coffman, Chris Coffman, Clay Coffman, Tony Keene, Butch Keene, Bobby Gray, Ivan DeYoung, and Paul Stone. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Keene, Joey Rickard, Phillip Neighbors, Jerry Brazil, Dale Wilson, Roger Winfield, Eric Chilton, Chris Brimhall, Gil Polk, and all the men he coached as youth over the years.
