Mrs. Jones passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born on October 19, 1945 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Manion Jones and Jessie Grady Edelene Oliver Jones. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Clay County. She was a great seamstress and retried from Russell Corp. after 30+ years of service. Mrs. Jones loved life and especially loved helping others. She enjoyed cooking, flowers, gardening and enjoyed her grandchildren most of all.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Nathaniel Lamarlin Jones of Alexander City; daughters, Pamela Ann Parris (James) and Wanda Yvonne Fuller (John) all of Ashland and Janet Montrell Thomas (Robert) of Alexander City; sister, GearlDean Jones (Ervin) of Ashland; brother, Faron Dale Jones (Carolyn) of Goodwater; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
