Mrs. Rosina Q. Child, [who lived in Westford as a child,] widow of George M. Child, died at the home of her son in Woburn on Wednesday, July 26, following an illness of one week. Mrs. Child was born in Sutton, Vt., on January 20, 1839, and has been a resident of Woburn for a number of years. Before moving to Woburn Mrs. Child and her husband were residents of this town for many years. She is survived by her son, George H., of Woburn, a former resident of this town, with whom she had made her home, and a brother, Alonzo Falls, of Wellesley Hills. Funeral services were held on Friday morning at her former home, and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery in this town in the family lot.
