Uriah Kring, 73, of Marshall Co., a fourth generation Kring born in America, past away at his home Friday, in the p.m., surrounded by love ones.
Uriah was a farmer and spent his life working the land around Marshall and Kosciusko Counties.
On Oct. 24, 1875, Uriah was married to Catherine Housouir of Kosciusko Co.; born Sept. 8, 1877, the daughter of Moses and Margartha (Ackert) Housouir.
Uriah and Catherine were the parents to five children; 3 sons and 2 daughters; Franklin, of Mishawaka, Ind., 1876-1933, Jeremiah, of La Paz, Ind., 1881-1964, Clarence, of Nappanee, Ind.,1885-1934, Anna (Benjamin) Hepler, of Nappanee, Ind. 1889-1977, and Cora, of Warsaw, Ind., 1894-1916.
Note: Uriah Kring died of natural causes and Catherine died 30 minutes later of shock and a heart attack.
Both Uriah and Catherine will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Ind.
