Mary D. Giles, age 89, of Plantersville passed away Oct. 25, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Calvin Giles, sons, Charles William "Billy" Giles, Aubrey Wayne Giles and an infant son; parents, Lewis Oscar and Ann Margaret Dyer; and grandparents, Julius Jessie (Mary Barbara) Dubose, M.D.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Mark W. (Sarah) Giles, Leah G. (Chris) Moore; daughter-in-law, Brenda W. Giles; and a great-grandson, James Christopher Moore.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Powell officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Stanton, AL.
