Survivors include: Son, Ernie Proffitt of Townsend; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Brenda & Charles Simonds of Greenback, Sandy & Trent Teffeteller of Maryville, Faye & David Thompson of Walland, and Kathy & Wayne Keller of Walland; Daughters, Pat Coppenger of Townsend and Bonnie Proffitt of Maryville; 15 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Sister and Brother-in-law, Betty & Omer Dyer of Louisville; Aunt, Jane Campbell of Maryville; Mother-in-law, Kate Morgan of Alcoa; lots of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
