ADA, Nov. 30 - Israel Oberlin, 91, retired brick layer, died at 1 p.m. Thursday in his home on W. Highland-av, following a brief illness.
He was born in Pennsylvania and was married to Sarah Jane McElhaney who preceded him in death in 1935.
Surviving are a son, Carl of Louisville, Ky. Two sons, Fred and Ross are deceased.
The body will remain at the Preston funeral home in Ada where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. L. M. Moore, pastor of the Ada Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery near Ada.
