She was 74 years of age, born July 12, 1907 in Pendleton. Her parents were Joseph and Hazel (Garrison) Guyll.
She was a lifetime resident of the area. She owned and operated Ray's Chicken House with her husband, Ray. The restaurant was sold the year following Mr. Mitchell's death in 1965. Mrs. Mitchell was active in volunteer wervice. She was a member of of Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and a member of Neighbors of Woodcraft Circle 2, Pendleton.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Mitchell, Pendleton; grand daughter, Sarah Mitchell, Pendleton; 1 uncle, 2 aunts; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were in care of Folsom-Bishop Funeral Chapel.
