Glo Reen Hooker-Freese, 50, of Amarillo, died Sunday, April 25, 2010.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Deacon Wayne Norrell officiating.
Glo was born Feb. 1, 1960, in Cordova, Alaska, to Don and Gloria Hooker. She was raised in Lynwood, Wash.
She worked as an RN for Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital and also worked as a supplemental instructor in the nursing department at Amarillo College.
She married Vic Freese on July 14, 1995, in Chapel of the Hills in Rapid City, S.D.
She was a member of God's church and was involved in helping young students at the Amarillo College Nursing School.
She enjoyed showing horses and training dogs. Glo loved people and she will be truly missed.
Glo was preceded in death by her father, Don Hooker.
Survivors include her husband, Vic Freese of Amarillo; her mother, Gloria Gault of Salmon, Wash.; and two brothers, Don and Mike Hooker, both of Everett, Wash.
