Margie Cox Adams, 22, of Belmont, died September 14, 1982, at the NMMC in Tupelo. She was an employee of Golden Manufact-uring Company and a member of the New Bethel Church of Christ. Services were September 16 at the Saucer Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge.
Survivors included her husband, Clayton Adams of Belmont; a son, Isaac Adams of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elton Cox of New Site; six sisters, Pam Spencer and Cathy Cox, both of Golden, Karen Taylor of Booneville, Dale Timms and Joan Blankenship, both of Tupelo, and Darlene Cox of New Site; a brother, Elton Lane Cox of New Site; grandparents, Mrs. Dela Aldridge of New Site and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cox of Iuka.
