Karen is survived by her children, Joshua D. Dixon and Jessica T. Dixon; mother, Dollie M. Nolan Edwards; brother, Russell "Kent" Edwards; companion, Mark Dugan. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Edwards. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
